HAYWARD, Calif. (May 6, 2010) — Dutra-Cerro-Graden, Inc. (DCG), the Bay Area’s leading Church Real Estate Development & Broker, has expanded its services by introducing a church lending division. DCG principals Dominic Dutra, Alan Cerro and Landis Graden recognized that churches need more than just brokerage and development expertise. The new division, Church Loans, is led by seasoned loan specialists and offers churches, religious institutions, non-profits, schools and other mission-based organizations full service financing options and support.
Annena Aikins, head of the Church Loans division, brings more than 10 years of experience. Having worked as a seminar leader and trainer for churches and non-profit organizations, Aikins is highly skilled at guiding church leaders through the lending process. Author of “What You Need to Know Before Financing Your Church: 77 Tips to Save Time and Prevent Mistakes,” Aikins is dedicated to her clients and their success.
Verna Brooks, a seasoned loan officer, also joins the Church Loans division. Brooks brings a wealth of experience and a “can do” attitude to Church Loans. Since 1995, Brooks has provided residential and commercial real estate financing, as well as project management. Partnering with faith-based organizations, Brooks is committed to helping ministries further their mission. Brooks is a true community leader, having served in volunteer positions with the NAACP, Community Development Partners and the City of Fairfield. She’s active in more than 15 community and real estate organizations.
Church Loans has hit the ground running. Landis Graden, DCG’s Chief Operating Officer, says that the firm is “excited to enter into the church loan market place” and is “poised to begin offering this service to clients currently seeking financing.”
